I just received my hoodie, I love it so much, as an autistic adult with severe anxiety and get sensory overload very easily, this is a life saver. It instantly relaxes me. It is a perfect weight and the weight in the hood is really nice. Also it is very discreet, no one else would know what this is, which is a problem I have with most other compression or weighted items to wear. It just looks like a thick sweatshirt. The fabric is soft and I would equate it to maybe a thick knit both inside and outside. So it wouldn't be super hot in the fall or spring. The only thing I don't love is cuffs kind of bother me and since it's a little small it cuffs my wrist instead of my hands so that kind of bothers me. I am about 6 feet tall and wear usually a size large or extra large, this juuussstttt fits me. I would have gotten one size bigger if I could of. It's a little tight and the sleeves are short. So as a slightly above average sized adult in height who is fairly slender to medium sized with a small chest, I don't see wear that leaves anyone bigger than me. Which there are plenty of people who are, so I would suggest increasing the sizes.

I was a little hesitant at first due to the price - but I think it is well worth every penny! The hoodie is very well made, and is just the right weight. I much prefer the distribution of the jacket it to a regular weighted blanket. I'm 5'1" (usually wear med or large depending) and c/should have ordered the S/M, but I prefer baggier and went with the large. I plan on wearing it at home, but would've considered exchanging for the smaller size if I would be wearing it out and about (mainly because the sleeves are a bit long).

The evening mine arrived (timely shipping, by the way!) I put it on, put up the hood, lie on the couch and promptly not only felt calmed down, but calmed all the way out. I didn't even feel tired, but I was asleep for a good half hour at least! My job is mentally exhausting for me, so I have a suspicion that this will become part of my after-work routine.

I see a lot of people who are put off by the price, and I’ll admit that I was a bit skeptical myself before purchasing. However, I couldn’t be happier with the quality and feel that it was money well spent! It’s super comfortable and calming and definitely worth the price I paid!

Sadly, I need to return my hoodie :(

I've used weighted blankets for years, and was looking forward to trying a weighted hoodie. Although many people online seem to love the weight in the shoulders, for me it caused neck pain, and shooting pain in my arms, hands, and fingers, after trying it on for a short time. So the weight in the shoulders is unfortunately detrimental for me.

I am disappointed of course. I was very excited to get this, and was hoping to buy a minky hoodie or a robe at a later date, but unfortunately, I can't use these wearable products. Instead of making me calm and relaxed, I ended up sad and in pain. The pain lasted through the next day, then gradually improved.

I was emailed a return label, which I've printed out, and I plan to return the hoodie this week. I'd read in advance that the price of return shipping is deducted from your refund if you return an item, and that's ok with me, since this is a small company.

For what it's worth, the quality of the hoodie seemed good, and I believe the positive reviews. For some people, the weight in the shoulders may be great. For me it was a huge problem.

Absolutely in love with my Thera hoodie. Very comfy, and it’s like having a weighted blanket on the go. I want one in other colors. Extremely well made and worth every penny.
