i don’t hate it, but i’m not obsessed with it. i have generalized anxiety disorder and as much as the pressure comfort is appreciated, i’ve found it to be more of an inconvenience for me than anything else. it’s just too heavy for me. when i’m wearing it, the weight balances out so it feels weightless and there’s no added pressure which is what i need. and when it’s not being worn it’s a lot of weight to maneuver. so in short, carrying it is too heavy, and wearing it doesn’t apply enough pressure for me. but despite this, i can 100% see how it can be appreciated by other buyers. just wasn’t my thing, but i won’t go as far as to say it’s not worth the purchase. hilarious enough, my dog also experiences anxiety and she appreciates it much more than i do, so there’s a plus there.

I absolutely love it! I’ve tried several different weighted hoodies and this one is definitely my favorite. I love how heavy it is and that the hood is also weighted! The fabric is also supper soft! Delivery time was very good as well.

Absolutely love it!!! Easily one of my go to's for regulation throughout the day. Absolutely love getting to practically take a weighted blanket with me wherever I go. Absolutely a go to for regulation when I need it. My therapist said in a session I was in that I needed to stim and fidget half as much when I was wearing it during one of our sessions.

I love my TheraHoodie. It's so comfy and I can wear it all the time. I can wear it whenever I feel like relaxing and getting some anxiety out.

I'm autistic and ADHD and it really helps with both of those. It helps me zone into whatever I'm doing and also it helps me not feel so overwhelmed.

💯 percent what I had hoped for. In a day where often what you get isn’t what was advertised, this hoodie knocks it out of the park.
Its weighted...seriously weighted. 10 lbs of sheer relaxation.
The fit is true to size. I wear small to medium hoodie so I ordered a small and its just right.
If you want to swim in your hoodie go up but honestly this makes it like a jacket you can wear anywhere or wear in house. It comes to my waist, covering my belt line and isnt too long or big in chest or under arms. Not tight either. Im 5.6 135 lbs.
I wore it out and about and looks like any zip up jacket.
The hood does NOT pull the front back. I can't stand stuff around my neck and was concerned that would happen but its all balanced.
It is warm...in a good way.
It feels like wearing a jacket in the house so Im not going to do cooking and housecleaning in it but I really enjoy putting it on, sitting in my reading chair, and listening to relaxing music 🎶.
The color is beautiful exactly as pictured.
The outside is stitched in squares to hold the weighted aspect in place and the inside is a one piece cloth not stitched. I was concerned it would drape or hang in a wierd way...but it doesnt. Its very comforting and smooth against skin, and doesnt catch like some fabrics do.
Literally all my fears aboutnit kot being what I needed went away when it arrived in a suede like bag that I can use to store or carry it and came quickly.
The zipper and cuffs are heavy duty.
Its definitely weighted. No skimp here.

Quite heavy which is what I was looking for. I’ve bought other products as wearable weighted blankets and none have compared to this. It’s cozy and soft and comforting.
If you’re looking for that protection/comfort of a weighted blanket then get this sweater!
I am 5’8” 140lbs and bought a larger XL because I wanted it roomy and it was the perfect size. Will recommend this to anyone who wants the same comfort as I was!

I’m a full time enrolled college student about a year and some change from graduation with my Bachelors in Aerospace Engineering. I’ve been dealing with a lot of things stressing me out in life. My anxiety was spiraling and I was becoming depressed. I ordered the weighted jacket because I wanted something to hold me down when I need to feel grounded. I fidget a lot, so a blanket wasn’t necessarily my first pick. Then I found Thera and took a leap of faith. When it arrived I was so excited… it was perfect. I like an oversized fit so I did size up but normally I’m a small and I think the small would have been oversized anyways. (For reference I’m 5’2” and about 136lbs.) I’m happy with my medium though, and the color is gorgeous. It might seem pricey, but it’s worth every penny if you’re really struggling. Thank you Thera!

Lovely! Exactly as advertised.
I do not have a disability or adhd. I'm a "normal" person with high anxiety and high empath syndrome. I was really hesitant to buy from Thera because I read a lot of reviews saying customers got damaged product, but I had no issues! It arrived in a timely manner and is exactly as advertised. It came with a nice bag to store your jacket and overall good packaging.

I wanted to wait a few weeks before reviewing and I have to say this jacket has definitely lowered my anxiety. I don't really notice how much it helps until I take it off and I immediately want to put it back on and never take off. It's a subtle help for me. It isn't like it instantly takes away all your anxiety it is just calming. It's kind of addicting to wear. If I'm in a stressful situation my first thought is "I wish I had my weighted jacket on," or "how soon until I can go home and wear my jacket?"
The weight isn't too heavy and it feels kind of awkward in the beginning, but I got used to it pretty quick. I was initially worried that the hood would tug on my neck, but it doesn't and you don't really notice the hood. The zipper is easy as well.

The first time I wore it, it definitely warmed me up really fast. I was worried that I would always be too hot in it, but after the next few times I could wear it comfortably without overheating, however I would not recommend physical activities while wearing. Which brings me to my next point, it's warm lol. I was outside in -12° with high winds and nothing penetrated the jacket!

I'm 5'2. Petite. Thin. I got a medium so it looks oversized and "depressing" on me (thanks family) but I like having the sleeves long enough to hide my hands and the extra room. If I had gotten a small it definitely would have fit me properly which is good to know. The pockets are big and are the same soft material as the outside which I like.

I have two cats and immediately upon opening it they decided to knead it. I was really concerned about them poking a hole or scratching it up, but so far so good. My dog has jumped on me with her long nails and it hasn't ruined the jacket at all.

After a few weeks I have noticed a small string on the arm that I'm a little worried about, but it isn't Thera's fault, simply user wearing. It would be nice to know what to do in case of a thread coming undone and how to fix it.

Overall I'm very very happy with it. It's soft and comfortable, perfectly weighted and a wonderful investment. I'm considering buying another one for myself for just around the house and for my younger brother who struggles as a high empath and anxiety as well. Thank you Thera! ❤️

Worth The Purchase!
I’m a 6’6 man with Autism who often suffers from anxiety and stress so I bought this weighted hoodie and this weighted hoodie was totally worth the purchase! It’s comfortable and calming and the minky material on the outside is so soft and pleasant to the touch and the inner fabric is also very comfortable. 10/10 would recommend!

I am immediately in love.
This coat is well constructed and well balanced. I love how long it is as I am 5'10 (and 210lbs, 46in bust) and finding things that feel long enough like I can really hide away in them is hard. It would be even nicer if I was shorter but that's life! It's a very boxy fit but honestly that lends to the weight of it not feeling too smothering which makes it feel easier to wear for longer. It's by no means a thin coat but it's also not crazy oppressively warm, during the height of summer thought I'd guess it would get too warm, for all other seasons it'll be lovely. I bought mine in a large and one size down would have still fit but having the extra hang and space of a size up is actually quite nice. Time will only tell it's durability but I'm so glad I finally took the plunge and bought one of these. It's finally a weight on my shoulders I actually enjoy! 😅 Included are several pictures in hopes it helps others pick a size as I felt like I guessed just a bit.
